Please read the suggestions below before calling for Emergency HVAC service. This will help us diagnose your problem more quickly and may save you a service call.
Air Conditioning - Not Cooling
Check your thermostat settings. Be sure the temperature control selector is set below the current room temperature, and the system switch is on COOL or AUTO and the fan switch is set to ON for continuous air flow or AUTO if the blower is to operate only while the air conditioner is operating. Try to get the air conditioner to turn on by lowering the thermostat to the lowest temperature setting. Check the air filters to see if they are dirty, if the air flow from your registers seems low. Make sure all registers are open and nothing is sitting on or in front of them. Check the power disconnect switch by each unit (indoor and outdoor). Check the fuse/breaker at the electrical box for both the indoor and outdoor units. If problem persists, call us.

Heat Pump Not Heating or Cooling

Gas
Furnace - Not Heating

Try to get the boiler to turn on by raising the thermostat to the highest temperature setting. Check the power disconnect switch by the boiler. Check the fuse/breaker at the electrical box for the boiler. Check to make sure you have fuel oil or check to make sure the gas control valve to the boiler is open. Check the pilot light (Electronic ignitions will not have a pilot light). If problem persists, call us. for the furnace. Check to make sure you have fuel oil. If problem persists, call us.

Geothermal - Not Cooling or Heating
